Built between the IV and I century B.C., the archaeological complex of Pietrabbondante has periodically been the site of 
excavations since 1857.
Amidst wonderful natural surroundings, it is possible to visit the Tempio Maggiore (II B.C.), the Colonnade of the Tempio Maggiore (IV B.C.), the Tempio Minore (III B.C.), and the Theatre (II B.C.).
