Location of the laboratory:

The laboratory is located near Planegg, a town 15 km. far away from München.

To go there from the Franz Joseph Strauss Airport you can choose:

  1. by suburban train (S-Bahn), line S8 to the Munich/Pasing stop and then by taxi (6 Km from that station to Müller-BBM) or by S-Bahn taking line S6 direction Starnberg/Tutzing. If you choose the last possibility get off the train at Planegg and then take a taxi (2 km to Müller-BBM);
  2. by car, take Autobahn A92 (starts at the airport) until you come to Intersection Neufahrn where you choose Autobahn A9. Look for the signs which indicate "To Munich" and proceed until you reach Exit Munich/Schwabing. Follow the signs "Lindau" on the highway "Mittlerer Ring" in westward direction. When you reach Exit Munich/Lindau take Autobahn A96 direction Lindau. Remain on this Autobahn until you see the sign "Exit Gräfelfing". Then follow the signs of Gräfelfing (3 Km from the Autobahn exit), turn left into the Industrial Area Steinkirchen (Semmelweisstr.) between Gräfelfing and Planegg. Follow this street until you reach its very end.

" Müller-BBM (see the logo) is one of the leading German consultancies for room and building acoustics, thermal building physics, noise and vibration control, and air pollution control. We offer assistance in planning, measuring, research and development, and the preparation of technical reports and test certificates. We are thus in a position to offer tailor-made solutions to customers here and abroad.

Müller-BBM was established in 1962 in Munich as a consultancy for room and building acoustics. Within just a short time, a new set of tasks widened the company's field of activities.

Müller-BBM offers a complete package. For example: During the construction of a concert hall, the demands placed on room and building acoustics, vibration control, and thermal building physics are very closely related. Measures taken in any one of the areas have an effect on the others. During the project the client always has one primary consultant, however, if necessary he can refer to other in-house experts.

Müller-BBM is staffed by experienced professionals in environmental protection. The objective of our work is to protect the human ability to perceive sound and vibration, heat, humidity, and smell.
